What's Wrong With Politics
I explored the possibility of running for Congress as a Democrat for four months and found that it's NOT possible - not without a LOT of out-of-pocket money and appeasing the whims and preferences of the established "movers and shakers" in North Georgia's Democratic Party.
❌️ I was blackballed by one county because the #1 issue of ONE of their county influencers isn't my TOP priority.
❌️ I was ostracized by another county for being "too aggressive" and "too focused" on the incumbent I hoped to replace.
❌️ I was chastised by district leaders for having the audacity to say publicly that their old, stale strategies, their aversion to technology, and their "bake sale" mentality weren't going to beat the no-holds-barred, greed-infested lie machine that is the current Republican Party.
❌️ Not one person was willing to join me as committee/campaign manager or treasurer, mostly citing fear of MAGA reprisals or violence.
❌️ On top of all that, the newspapers in the area knowingly print documented, proven lies fed to them by the incumbent - and refused to run several letters disproving those lies - because the editors or publishers are partisans, not journalists.
Georgia politics has become a hotbed key state in the national political machine, and with that, Georgia's politicians now emulate that national political landscape and behavior more than ever before. And that's where What's Wrong With Politics comes in. WWWP is not a campaign or exploratory committee. WWWP is a watchdog, with the express purpose of exposing the worst of Georgia's politics and the liars, hacks, bullies, hypocrites, and con artists who practice them.
